Jean-Luc is french, and moved to Australia in 2006, but has been in Perth for 5 months at a time every summer since 2000 to coach water skiing.

Jean-Luc started as an actor while living in France and performed in plays, TV shows and a few movies. He even wrote,directed and played a short amateur video movie (55min) for a film festival and won the award from the press.

He then took up snow skiing and water skiing, won the french trick championship in 2001, came 3rd at the world championship in 2004, is 2007 WA’s slalom champion, the 2008 Australian champion in trick, jump and overall. He represented Australia at the 2008 senior world championship in spain.

Jean-Luc started the magic only in 1994, after working as a bartender in London and hasn’t stopped since. He performed on a cruise-ship, the Club Med 2,and in venues in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Tahiti, Acapulco, Paris, Cannes(for the film festival), in Ivory coast(Africa), in Greece,Dominican Republic and in Australia.

Jean-Luc worked during 5 years at the Fisherman’s table in Rockingham as the house’s magician every week end, and is doing the Rockingham council’s Christmas party every year.

He is also the actual resident magician at the :          Deville’s Pad” in Perth.

He also performed for Telstra,West Coast Hi-Fi, Elders… And won the 2007 WA’s Magician of the year trophy on his first participation in a magic contest and won again in 2008 and 2009.

Jean-Luc was featured in the December 2008 issue of Perth Woman Magazine.
